Our company is looking for a talented Manager, Distribution & Revenue Strategy to join our dynamic start-up driving the transformation of the independent boutique hotel landscape. Responsibilities include educating client hoteliers of the value of our distribution vendors' offerings and the unique terms and conditions we've negotiated on their behalf, assessment of unique independent hoteliers' distribution strategies, and delivery of best revenue management best practices across a broad range of independent hotels globally. Ideal candidates will be outgoing, proactive, excellent communicators (both written and verbally), able to build and maintain trusting relationships, goal driven, and enjoy traveling to domestic and international boutique luxury hotels for "work".

You are a key contributor, trusted by leadership to take on a large number of diverse client accounts, to quickly diagnose and optimize channel production across each accounts array of third party distribution partners. You enjoy engaging directly with and supporting independent luxury hotel owners, General Managers and Revenue Managers around the world to support and drive success in accordance with their distribution strategy. Here's what we expect from our Distribution & Revenue Managers:
Engagement Delivery
  • Regularly identify, engage, assess, and offer guidance to member hotel clients on distribution strategies and optimization through Company preferred distribution agreements and report on same to Company leadership;
  • Interface directly with Member Hotels to identify low performing distribution channels and how to best position these hotels for volume and success in accordance with their unique distribution objectives
  • Provide exceptional value on engagements;
  • Prepare and present clear, high-quality presentations, reports, and other relevant documents in an engaging and effective manner as required by each hotel engagement.

Distribution Strategy Assessment and Optimization
  • Deep dive assessment of member hotel distribution strategy and their goals through the Company's distribution agreements;
  • Diagnose any technological issues in hotel rate setup as well as distribution partner receipt of availability and advise Company team and LHW stakeholders of the same;
  • Work purposefully with member hotels to develop understanding of rate competitiveness and optionality in rate plans and promotional rates within their region;
  • Where applicable, assist in driving reasonable production through member hotel chain level distribution channels to the satisfaction of the member hotels;
  • Coordinate with distribution partners' local market management teams to further enhance optimization capabilities.

An ideal candidate will have:
  • 3+ Years of Revenue Management experience
  • Exposure to luxury hospitality and has worked in a hotel revenue management capacity
  • Experience configuring third party distribution rate plans in Sabre SynXis
  • Experience working with revenue management systems (namely IDeaS G3, Duetto, others)
  • Overall understanding of rate parity, OTA, wholesale, and general distribution strategy
  • Commitment to quality, strict attention to detail, and entrepreneurialism
  • Collaborative work style
  • Comfort with autonomy and a work environment that requires you to hold yourself accountable
  • Composure under normal and high-pressure circumstances
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver high quality presentation documents independently and with minimal review
  • Strong interpersonal skills, experience participating effectively in a team environment and building internal and external relationships
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and technical concepts
  • Ability to seek innovative and creative solutions to complex technical/business problems
  • Willing to get involved in many different aspects of the business as needed, including flexing into a business analyst role from time-to-time, if required
  • Proficiency in MS Office package (Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Proficiency in G-Suite package (Google Slides and Sheets)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills
  • Proven work ethic and comfort with significant workload
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Have:
  • Track record of excellence (promoted early, recognized for their achievements, and can provide quality samples of past work)
  • Educated or experienced in the hospitality industry
  • Successful Revenue ManagementTrack Record
  • Fluency in Italian preferred but not required
  • 1-3 year post-undergrad professional experience
