Delta Dental of Illinois is seeking a strategic and analytical Product Strategy Analyst, Insurance to lead product growth through market insight, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for identifying product opportunities, guiding development and enhancements, and ensuring product strategies align with business goals, customer needs, and competitive market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and trends
  • Develop and execute product strategies that support growth, profitability, and retention
  • Translate research insights into product requirements and development plans
  • Lead the Product Development Work Group to evaluate market opportunities and strategic initiatives and present recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, CX, and other stakeholders on product development and implementation
  • Support sales and marketing with product positioning, value propositions, and sales tools
  • Measure product performance and adjust strategies to achieve business outcomes
  • Develop a systematic approach to collect competitive intelligence and provide reports

Qualifications

  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in product management, intelligence, strategy or related business
  • Insurance, financial services, or service-industry experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred
