Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for a Manager to support our Analytics and Strategy & Operations teams, both of which play a pivotal role in delivering data-driven insights and driving growth and operational excellence of Hopscotch. This individual will be responsible for leading operational, analytical, and strategic initiatives for high-leverage areas of the business and quickly drive results. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills paired with first principles thinking and an ownership mentality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and maintain operational analytics to drive insights and action for key stakeholders across the organization (e.g., leadership, PCPs, clinic teams)
  • Conduct complex, detailed analyses to inform strategic, clinical, and operational decisions
  • Build and maintain complex financial and operational models and reporting to support decision-making
  • Identify and validate new opportunities to apply generative AI to improve access and quality of care
  • Work with the leadership team to pinpoint the highest leverage opportunities and needs across the business
  • Support metric governance program to ensure highest priority metrics are accurate and consistent across the organization
  • Support build vs. buy vs. partner assessments and assist in high-impact capital allocation decisions
  • Monitor regulatory changes and federal/state funding opportunities impacting care delivery, digital health, and value-based models

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in fast-paced environment such as management consulting, investment banking, or early-stage startup
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and driving results with minimal guidance
  • Experience presenting to and collaborating with executive leadership
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude)
  • Strong grasp of statistical concepts and skilled at data storytelling
  • Experience working in digital health, care delivery, or health insurance
  • Familiarity with value-based care and key healthcare industry dynamics/trends

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency with data querying and scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Python)
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Experience with causal inference and quasi-experimental methods
  • Experience with machine learning techniques

In accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Act, we're providing the full salary range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, relevant experience and qualifications. Most offers will fall within a portion of the listed range. This position has a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 annually, based on location, relevant experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
