This role will define and execute a market-driven product strategy to drive revenue and client growth across private banks, broker-dealers, RIAs, and other wealth market segments.
As a Director of Product Strategy at FRT, you will operate as an individual contributor with broad ownership and autonomy, partnering closely with product management, sales, marketing, client service, and delivery teams to take ideas from concept through commercial launch.
Specifically, as the Director of Product Strategy, you will:
Define the Wealth Market Opportunity
  • Build and maintain a clear view of the wealth management landscape
  • Identify and prioritize sub-segments based on product-market fit, operational realities, and revenue potential
  • Lead market discovery with prospective clients, partners, and advisors to surface pain points, workflow gaps, and unmet needs

Translate FRT capabilities into defined solutions that reflect client workflows and can be packaged, priced, and sold
  • Develop business cases and high-level requirements that shape product direction and inform go/no-go decisions
  • Partner with product management, which owns detailed requirements and execution, to move opportunities from concept to launch
  • Balance speed to market with development of high-value features that support long-term growth
  • Contribute to the evolution of the product portfolio across both new opportunities and existing offerings

Drive Commercialization and Growth
  • Lead commercialization efforts for Wealth solutions, including packaging, positioning, and pricing in partnership with marketing and sales
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the Wealth line of business, supporting sales and client service in client discussions and deal support
  • Ensure consistent messaging of value across client-facing teams
  • Measure success through adoption, launch effectiveness, and revenue growth within the Wealth segment

Our ideal candidate is:
  • Proven experience in product strategy, business architecture, or a similar strategic role within fintech or the wealth management ecosystem (10+ years preferred)
  • Comfortable owning market discovery and translating insights into actionable product direction
  • Able to work across functions, influencing teams in product management, engineering, sales, client service, and operations
  • Familiar with wealth management structures, advisor workflows, or investment operations is strongly preferred.
  • Self-directed and accountable, able to operate independently while staying aligned with broader organizational priorities
  • Structured in thinking, able to break down complex problems and define clear paths forward
  • Intellectually curious, with a bias toward learning from the market and adapting quickly

What does FRT offer:
  • Competitive salary and bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • A high-growth environment with the opportunity to define new products and expand into new markets
  • A collaborative culture focused on solving complex problems for leading financial institutions

Compensation: base salary is experience dependent and can range from $160,000-$180,000 a year. FRT also offers a competitive annual bonus.
