Main purpose of the Retail Recruiter role:

The Retail Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for store-based roles, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains top retail talent. This role will partner closely with retail and corporate leadership to understand hiring needs, build strong talent pipelines, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience that supports continued business growth.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for retail store positions (Store Managers, Assistant Managers, Sales Associates, Visual Merchandisers)
  • Partner with Retail leadership to forecast hiring needs and workforce plans
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies through job boards, social media, referrals
  • Build strong pipelines through networking, competitor mapping, referrals, and industry outreach
  • Host hiring events and participate in job fairs when needed
  • Ensure clear, consistent communications with applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Travel to retail store locations

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2–5+ years of retail recruiting experience, preferably within contemporary and luxury brands
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and store leadership structures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish

This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.


A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $75k to $85k.
