Position Summary/Purpose:
Were looking for a relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our cleaning and restoration business. This role is primarily responsible for generating new business through networking, referrals, and strong client relationships.
As a growing company, this is a hands-on role where youll help build our sales pipeline, strengthen partnerships, and own day-to-day communications and invoice support. This role requires balancing outbound business development with real-time coordination of customer needs throughout the day. You will be supported through company-provided systems, CRM tools, and call center support on non-restoration calls.
Primary Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
  • Identify and build relationships with referral sources (insurance agents, property managers, business owners, etc.)
  • Conduct regular outreach, including phone calls, in-person visits, and networking events
  • Schedule and lead meetings with prospective clients and partners
  • Deliver presentations to organizations and community groups
  • Generate new business opportunities and support conversion to active jobs
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and referral partners
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and referral partners
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for restoration calls during business hours, communicating with field team to ensure timely response and coordination of service
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships to drive repeat and referral business
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through clear communication and follow-through
Operations & Team Coordination (Startup Support)
  • Coordinate daily scheduling to ensure efficient job flow
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure smooth handoff from sales to job execution
  • Ensure basic job documentation, customer records, and workflow tracking information is updated within company systems
  • Maintain contacts, jobs, and referral sources in company CRM
  • Support invoicing, client and insurance company payment follow-up, and job close-out processes
  • Coach technicians on customer communication and identifying potential opportunities in the field
Marketing & Community Presence
  • Actively participate in networking groups, community events, and industry organizations
  • Support the development of marketing materials and outreach strategies
  • Represent the company professionally in all external interactions

  • Building a consistent pipeline of new referral partners and opportunities
  • Generating steady revenue growth through new and repeat business
  • Maintaining strong relationships that lead to ongoing referrals

Compensation:
Base salary + performance-based bonus/commission tied to revenue growth
