Job description

TNT Limousine & Executive Sedan is seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reservations, Sales & Customer Service Specialist.

This is a full-time, in-office position designed for someone who is looking for more than a temporary job. We are seeking a long-term team member who wants to learn the business, take on increasing responsibility, and potentially grow into an operational or managerial role as the company continues to expand.

The selected candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers. Daily responsibilities will include answering phone calls and emails, responding to new sales leads, gathering transportation details, preparing quotes, following up with prospective customers, entering reservations, maintaining customer records, and assisting clients throughout the booking process.

The employee will support both TNT Limousine & Executive Sedan and TNT Auto Rental. Training will be provided on our reservation systems, pricing procedures, vehicle options, customer-service standards, and daily operating processes.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Answering incoming customer calls and responding to emails, text messages, website inquiries, and online leads
  • Gathering the information needed to provide accurate quotes and vehicle recommendations
  • Preparing and sending transportation and rental quotes under management direction
  • Following up with prospective customers by phone, email, and text
  • Converting qualified inquiries into confirmed reservations
  • Entering and updating reservations accurately
  • Maintaining organized customer notes, lead statuses, follow-up dates, and reservation records
  • Explaining company services, vehicles, pricing, and policies professionally
  • Assisting customers before, during, and after the reservation process
  • Monitoring upcoming reservations for missing information or required follow-up
  • Supporting the office with general administrative tasks
  • Assisting TNT Auto Rental customers and entering reservations into system
  • Completing occasional local vehicle deliveries, pickups, and company errands
  • Assisting with social-media content, vehicle photography, promotional materials, online reviews, email outreach, bridal shows, and business-development activities
  • Supporting management with additional sales and operational projects as needed

As the employee becomes more experienced and demonstrates strong performance, the position may expand to include chauffeur scheduling and dispatch, payment processing, corporate-account management, event coordination, client issue resolution, and greater responsibility for daily operations.

The anticipated schedule consists primarily of weekday office hours, generally from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, approximately four weekdays per week, with one regular weekday off. Occasional Saturday morning shifts from approximately 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM may be available or required depending on business needs. The position is expected to average approximately 35–45 hours per week, with additional overtime opportunities during particularly busy periods.

There will be no routine weekend or after-hours dispatch responsibility when the employee initially begins. Additional scheduling or operational responsibilities may be introduced later as the employee is trained and advances within the company.

Starting compensation is approximately $19.00 per hour, plus commission incentives. Commission details will be discussed during the interview process. This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position. Additional benefits include employee transportation discounts, performance reviews, merit-based raises, increased earning potential, and opportunities for advancement.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior customer-service or sales experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to remain organized while managing multiple responsibilities. A college degree is welcomed but not required.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking with customers, asking for business, following up on leads, learning multiple software systems, and working in a fast-moving small-business environment. Applicants should be professional, dependable, detail-oriented, coachable, technologically capable, and interested in building a long-term career.

The selected candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, maintain an acceptable driving record, have reliable transportation to and from our Glen Allen office, and be willing to complete a job-related background check and motor-vehicle-record review.

Experience in hospitality, transportation, travel, rental vehicles, weddings, events, logistics, reservations, inside sales, office administration, social-media marketing, or customer account management is preferred but not required.

The employee will have an individual office and will report directly to the Head of Operations. Most responsibilities will initially be completed under management supervision. Greater independence and decision-making authority may be provided as the employee demonstrates reliability, judgment, and proficiency.

This position offers a meaningful advancement opportunity for an ambitious professional. A successful employee may grow into a broader operations, supervisory, or management role within approximately 12–18 months. Advancement will be based on performance, reliability, leadership ability, and the needs of the company.
