Hotel Weyanoke — a beautifully restored boutique hotel blending historic charm with modern Southern hospitality — is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our Front Desk and Housekeeping departments.

This is an incredible opportunity for a driven professional who loves balancing operational precision with a personal touch.

Compensation and Benefits: $48,000 - $55,000 / per year. Full-Time team members receive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life, 401(k), STD, LTD, paid holiday, vacation, cell phone paid, personal & sick time, lean management training, and other employee discount benefits through our HR provider LL Roberts.    

What You'll Be Doing

As our Hotel Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience — leading daily operations, empowering staff, and ensuring our property runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading the Front Desk & Housekeeping teams to uphold service excellence and operational standards.
  • Coaching and developing associates, ensuring they have the tools and training to shine.
  • Monitoring occupancy, budgets, and workflow to maximize revenue and efficiency.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and quality across all guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Collaborating with other department heads to deliver seamless experiences that delight every guest.
  • Resolving guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and creativity.

What We're Looking For

  • We’re searching for a hands-on leader who brings:
  • 5+ years of hotel operations experience, including 2+ in a supervisory or management role.
  • A proven track record of motivating and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of PMS systems, guest service standards, and housekeeping operations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
