This position is designed for remote work, allowing counselors the flexibility to create their own schedules while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. With an intuitive all-in-one Counselor Dashboard, you will conduct sessions via video or text chat, ensuring you have all the necessary resources at your fingertips.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients through video chat, using evidence-based practices to improve their mental health.
• Foster an environment where clients feel safe to discuss their emotions and life experiences, enhancing their self-awareness and understanding of interpersonal relationships.
• Advocate for clients and assist them in setting and achieving personal goals, tailoring approaches based on their unique needs and circumstances.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health status thoroughly, collaborating with them to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize a solution-focused methodology.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health counseling to deliver the best possible care and support to your clients.

At Camino Mental Healthcare, you will primarily serve stable adults who have been meticulously screened to ensure they are suitable for your services. The clients you will work with exhibit low acuity levels, allowing you to focus on managing their mental health without the complexities of severe mental health disorders. We take great care in matching clients with counselors based on specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a strong therapeutic relationship.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Full licensure in California, either as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential. Note that we do not accept provisional licenses or those with disciplinary actions.

• Prior experience working with adult clients in a telehealth or remote setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with solution-focused therapy and other evidence-based practices will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in using digital platforms for therapy, such as video conferencing software, will enhance the experience for both you and your clients.

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
