As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Vitality Recovery, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of client-centered tasks, including:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video or text chat, focusing on developing effective therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Facilitating discussions that lead clients to explore and understand their emotions, behaviors, and life experiences.
• Developing personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices while leveraging your own clinical expertise.
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal mental health outcomes.
• Acting as a strong advocate for your clients, empowering them to establish and achieve their personal goals.

Your clients will consist of stable adults who have undergone thorough screening, ensuring that they present with low acuity mental health needs. This focused demographic allows you to concentrate on effective counseling techniques without the complexities presented by more severe mental health conditions. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Possess a valid and active state license allowing for independent practice as a:
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Have at least two years of direct counseling experience.
• Demonstrate compassionate, empathic interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit proficiency with digital tools and platforms utilized in telehealth settings.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in specific therapeutic modalities or those who have worked with diverse client populations will have an added advantage. An understanding of technology-driven therapeutic platforms and familiarity with telehealth best practices will also be beneficial.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000 per year, depending on the number of hours worked and your level of experience. In addition to a robust salary, we offer a sign-on bonus, weekly direct deposit, and a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors.
