Remote temp jobs provide flexibility for both employers and workers, making them a popular choice for those seeking short-term work or a flexible schedule.

To overcome these challenges, it's helpful to proactively ask questions, set up brief introductory meetings with team members, and familiarize yourself with the company's remote work tools early on. Maintaining clear, frequent communication and being organized can also help you meet expectations and deliver results, even on short-term assignments.

Job description

About the Temp Marketing Operations Specialist at Headspace:
We're looking for a highly motivated Temp Marketing Operations Specialist to help lead Braze operations within our team. We're a fast-paced team that cares about the member experience primarily, and how the experience we deliver leads to business impact.
At a high level, the person in this role will help ensure we're leveraging the applicable features and channels within Braze, support campaign execution, and organize campaign reporting. If you are someone who likes to get their hands dirty, dig into technical problems, and find creative solutions, we want to hear from you.
The ideal candidate has proven experience leveraging AI tools to streamline execution, including drafting Liquid Logic, building reporting frameworks, and generating documentation, with the judgment to QA and refine outputs.
This is a US-based, remote Temp role through the end of the year (2026) with an expected schedule of 40 hours per week.
What you will do:
  • Own the creation and deployment of Braze segments and campaigns, ensuring they are targeting the right audience, are error-free, and able to report on the right KPIs
  • Support data functionality in Braze: working closely with other teams to request attributes and events, maintaining existing segments and other data points, and ensuring data is clean, accurate, and properly formatted
  • Monitor the performance of Braze campaigns, including tracking and reporting key metrics such as click-through rates and conversion rates
  • Support Lifecycle team strategic initiatives, both in execution and driving the work end-to-end, including collaborating with the Product team to send push notifications and executing the monthly newsletter program
  • Interact directly with Braze reps to ensure new features or improvements can be implemented, and provide clear direction on new features to the team to help improve campaign performance
  • Ensure that Braze campaigns comply with all relevant regulations and policies, including data privacy and security requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Content Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure Braze campaigns are aligned with overall business goals and objectives
  • Provide end-to-end support for new and existing ad-hoc and evergreen campaigns, including ideation, execution, segment building, and reporting, as well as operational support for landing pages, templates, and forms
  • Create and maintain documentation of marketing operations processes
  • Flex to support ad-hoc campaign builds and reporting requests across the broader team

What you will bring:
Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing or CRM operations, ideally focusing on execution of marketing campaigns across email, push, in-app modal, and SMS
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel best practices, deliverability, and data protection laws
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can run projects from start to finish with minimal oversight
  • Strong project manager, comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities, and resources simultaneously
  • Confident collaborator who can interpret feedback into actionable next steps and is comfortable challenging the subject matter when needed
  • Data-driven, with the ability to report cleanly and accurately on marketing campaign performance
  • Proven experience using AI tools to accelerate execution, including drafting Liquid Logic, building reporting frameworks, and generating documentation, with the judgment to QA and refine outputs

Preferred Skills:
  • Braze certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with Liquid Logic highly preferred
  • Experience with Amplitude or Tableau a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS as it relates to email
