Local CDL A Yard Switcher - 2nd Shift - $27.50 Per Hour - FLEX

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Mount Juliet, TN. This is a flex/temp assignment. 

CDL A Details 

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4p-12am, 8 Hour shifts, 40-50 hours per week

  • Pay:  $27.50 Per Hour + Benefits

  • Route Type: Local, yard switching and shuttle runs

  • Equipment: Automatic trucks

  • Handling: No touch

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

  • License: CDL A  

  • Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

  • Endorsements: None

  • Equipment Experience: Backing proficient

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

  • Safely operate CDL A equipment on local yard and shuttle routes 

  • Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

  • Perform required handling tasks

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

  • Meet the physical demands of the role
