Position Summary:

We are currently hiring aย Floor Care Janitorย  Position at Fort Leonard Wood, Saint Robert MO.ย 

Schedule: Full Timeย 

Shift: FT -ย Flex, Monday-Friday This is a Temp/Flex position

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm, but some duties will require night hours of 5:00pm - 1:30am for stripping and waxing floors.

Salary:$17.75 & FEDERAL BENEFITS

This is an ideal position for an individual with a documented disability or receiving social security/disability benefits. Candidates with a documented disability will be strongly considered!

Typical Duties:

  • Maintains floor care in various buildings. Sweeps, vacuums, dust mops, wet mops,ย  scrubs, strips,ย  restores, waxes floor, buffs, cleans carpets, power scrub floors.ย 
  • Operates floor care equipment. clean and maintains hard surface floors using various kinds of power equipment and cleaning solutions.ย 
  • Maintains equipment by performing preventative and minor maintenance.
  • Assist crew in completing contract required tasks: clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms, including sweep and mop floors, sinks, toilets, glass and mirror, stall walls. Vacuum, sweep, mop of floors and stairs. Empty all trash cansย  and replace liners, clean receptaclesย  as Necessary.ย 
  • Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
  • And other related duties as required.ย 
  • Reports to the Project Managerย 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates with a documented disability will be strongly considered

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs.
  • Pushing and pulling up to 45 lbs.
