Job description

At Shaner Hotels, we believe great hospitality starts with great people. As our portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Revenue Manager to join our team. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our Corporate Office in State College, Pennsylvania.

As a Revenue Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our owned and managed hotel portfolio by driving revenue performance and helping our properties achieve their full potential. Working closely with hotel teams, you will develop and implement revenue management strategies, identify new revenue opportunities, and provide valuable insights through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.

We are looking for someone who enjoys analyzing data, collaborating with others, and finding innovative ways to maximize revenue while building strong relationships with hotel leadership and operational teams.

What You'll Do

  • Partner directly with Shaner Hotels properties to maximize room revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyze market trends, demand patterns, and competitive positioning to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies to optimize hotel performance.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and performance analyses.
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership teams to ensure revenue strategies align with property goals.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with team members across all levels of the organization.
  • Continuously evaluate performance and recommend adjustments to drive revenue growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales and/or Revenue Management.
  • Current knowledge of and experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and independent hotel reservation and yield management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think both strategically and creatively.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and reporting tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for driving results.
