Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultation and support to interdisciplinary team members to identify patient needs and create effective treatment plans.

  • Lead parent support groups, offering guidance and strategies particularly related to issues stemming from placement, adoption, and developmental challenges associated with prenatally substance-exposed children.
  • Perform thorough developmental evaluations for children, focusing on identifying developmental milestones and areas requiring intervention.
  • Plan and conduct training sessions aimed at various stakeholders including clients, social workers, educators, and legal professionals to disseminate knowledge about family dynamics and therapeutic practices.
  • Document all interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating seamless care coordination.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with adults and children from diverse backgrounds. Our client population frequently faces challenges related to family dynamics, mental health issues, and socio-economic stressors, presenting an opportunity for you to apply your skills to create meaningful change. Qualifications
  • Must be a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with an active state license in California.

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinically relevant experience in providing therapy and counseling services.
Preferred Experience
