The Detox Center primarily serves individuals struggling with substance abuse, offering a critical support system to guide them toward recovery.

• Provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals and families, addressing the multifaceted nature of substance use and its impact on the clients’ lives.
• Collaborate with practitioners to identify and de-escalate risks, ensuring timely interventions when clients exhibit concerning behaviors or require emergency services.
• Conduct thorough assessments, including psychosocial histories and evaluations, while utilizing effective interview techniques to gain trust and gather pertinent information.
• Implement case management strategies that advocate for clients’ needs, fostering connections to community resources and support systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding policies to identify potential risks, developing proactive measures to mitigate them and effectively communicate these findings to Clinical Leads.
• Focus on outcomes-oriented practices by collecting client feedback, analyzing barriers to effective care, and providing actionable recommendations for service improvement.

This position specifically serves individuals who are experiencing substance use disorders. You will counsel a diverse range of clients, including children, youth, and adults, providing them with tailored support that addresses their unique circumstances. Your role is crucial in fostering resilience and facilitating recovery among vulnerable populations.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program.
• Current California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is REQUIRED.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic practices and interventions.
• Expertise in conducting psychosocial assessments and familiarity with interview techniques, including suicide assessments and forensic evaluations.

• Experience working specifically with clients facing substance use issues and a deep understanding of the associated challenges and recovery processes.
• Proficiency with digital health record systems and case management software to efficiently document client interactions and progress.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams that emphasizes collaborative care approaches to address complex client needs.
