Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals and families, addressing the multifaceted nature of substance use and its impact on the clients’ lives.
  • Collaborate with practitioners to identify and de-escalate risks, ensuring timely interventions when clients exhibit concerning behaviors or require emergency services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including psychosocial histories and evaluations, while utilizing effective interview techniques to gain trust and gather pertinent information.
  • Implement case management strategies that advocate for clients’ needs, fostering connections to community resources and support systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding policies to identify potential risks, developing proactive measures to mitigate them and effectively communicate these findings to Clinical Leads.
  • Focus on outcomes-oriented practices by collecting client feedback, analyzing barriers to effective care, and providing actionable recommendations for service improvement.

You will counsel a diverse range of clients, including children, youth, and adults, providing them with tailored support that addresses their unique circumstances. Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program.
  • Current California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is REQUIRED.
