Job Summary

This position focuses exclusively on commercial real estate investment sales transactions for our Loan Sales team. ISA Analysts have the opportunity to engage in all stages of the transaction lifecycle, including underwriting, market research, property tours, preparation of offering memorandums, marketing and term sheet negotiation, closing processes, and client interactions. The role operates within a high-energy, team-focused environment that provides excellent foundational experience in commercial real estate capital markets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive investment sales offering packages and submissions for commercial properties, incorporating detailed research, advanced financial modeling, and persuasive executive summaries

  • Develop sophisticated financial models for various commercial real estate assets, utilizing market data and JLL resources to ensure accurate valuation and underwriting

  • Manage due diligence processes efficiently, driving both marketing and closing processes for each transaction

  • Maintain consistent communication with Producers, market participants, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle

  • Analyze marketing feedback to help clients optimize their disposition strategies and investment decisions

  • Demonstrate proficiency with industry databases to extract actionable insights for market trend analysis and client presentations

  • Review and analyze real estate documentation (leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to identify potential issues affecting valuation or marketability

  • Assist in developing investment strategies and recommendations for client properties

  • Begin building industry relationships through participation in networking events and real estate trade organizations

  • Contribute actively to weekly office meetings discussing transaction pipeline, deal status, market conditions, and new business opportunities

  • Support additional capital markets initiatives as assigned by team leadership

Experience Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis; commercial real estate investment or brokerage experience preferred

  • Self-motivated professional with team orientation and excellent time management skills

  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication abilities

  • Capacity to interact professionally with senior executives and institutional clients

  • Proven ability to communicate complex analytical and marketing data effectively

  • Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Pursuit of relevant industry certifications encouraged (ARGUS, Excel modeling, etc.)

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (financial modeling)

  • ARGUS experience considered a significant advantage

  • Database management and research platform experience beneficial

  • Knowledge of CRM systems a plus

Work Environment

  • Collaborative office setting with modern technology infrastructure

  • Travel opportunities for property tours and client meetings

Compensation

  • Range listed below is for base salary and position is eligible for additional discretionary bonus.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

60,000.00 - 70,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
