As a Mental Health Counselor at Meridell, you will work closely with clients to identify their unique mental health needs and offer tailored support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to establish individualized treatment plans based on each client's specific circumstances.
• Providing evidence-based therapy to individuals, families, and groups using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate holistic care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilizing your expertise to offer crisis intervention services during acute distress situations, ensuring swift and compassionate support for clients in need.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental health issues and informing the public about available resources and support services.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Hold a master’s degree or doctorate in fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build therapeutic relationships and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and the capacity to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Display solid organizational and time management skills to ensure timely and precise documentation of client interactions and progress.
