Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, using a patient-centered approach that prioritizes client well-being.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client.
• Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions aimed at helping clients cultivate new coping skills, improve problem-solving strategies, and enhance communication abilities.
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes with minimal paperwork requirements, ensuring that clinical notes are accurately recorded within the counseling platform.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, responding effectively to any immediate mental health concerns presented by clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults, focusing on a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will help clients achieve greater self-awareness and emotional resilience, fostering personal growth in a safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current licensure in the state of California as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• Evidence of independent licensure without supervision and a clean disciplinary record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proficiency in utilizing technology for remote counseling services.
• A stable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient counseling, particularly with low-acuity clients, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques.
