Job Description:
As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiter who will do full-cycle recruiting across all levels of employees.
The Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment of attorneys, paralegals, legal support staff, Marketing/Accounting/Technology professionals and executive recruitment across multiple offices in multiple states.
This role will partner with hiring managers and the rest of the HR team to develop and execute effective hiring strategies that align with the firm's goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal recruiting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple searches in a fast-paced environment.
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Involved in full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for all levels of employees.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top legal talent across multiple states.
  • Develop, track and analyze recruiting metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements and recommendations.
  • Partner with firm leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions that align with firm goals.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified legal professionals through networking, referrals, job postings, and industry events.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Negotiate job offers, including compensation and benefits, in alignment with firm policies.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to enhance employer branding and market the firm as an employer of choice.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting. Legal recruitment experience, either in a law firm or legal staffing agency is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the legal industry, attorney hiring trends, and employment law.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously across different locations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience recruiting in multiple states with an understanding of regional hiring nuances.
  • Strong network within the legal industry.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field a plus.
