Job description

The Legal Recruitment Assistant provides support and assistance to the Firm's Legal Recruitment and Summer Associate Programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with Lateral Recruitment team on all aspects of lateral associate and counsel hiring, including responding to resume submissions, creating candidate files, maintaining profiles in the recruiting database, scheduling interviews and arranging logistics in connection with interviews, interfacing with candidates and attorneys at the firm, and processing invoices and reimbursements.
  • Assist with aspects of immigration/visa processing for existing and incoming attorneys
  • Provide support during the summer associate program and on-campus recruitment season as needed and assigned
  • Perform other related tasks and provide general departmental support as needed and assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years related work experience and/or internship, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
  • Availability to work overtime on certain occasions is necessary
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and with a wide range of professionals at all levels
  • Must possess strong written, organizational, and communication skills, basic computer skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
    Work Requirements

This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role.
Salary
$60,000-$65,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications.
