POSITION TITLE: Legal Recruiter
LOCATION: Hybrid (San Diego, CA, Orange, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Austin, TX, or surrounding markets considered)
COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $75,000 annually + Uncapped Commission
*Compensation in this range will be determined based on experience, skills, geographical location, and internal equity considerations. 
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a relationship-driven Legal Recruiter to join our established Legal Practice. In this role, you will partner with law firms and corporate legal departments to identify and place top legal talent.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with legal recruiting experience who enjoys building lasting client and candidate relationships, consulting with hiring managers, and making meaningful career connections. Working alongside an experienced legal recruiting team, you'll play a key role in supporting one of Eastridge's longest-standing specialty divisions while contributing to its continued growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for direct hire legal positions.
  • Source, recruit, screen, interview, and present qualified legal professionals, including legal assistants, paralegals, legal support professionals, and attorneys, as appropriate.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client hiring needs, organizational culture, and position requirements to ensure high-quality candidate matches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with law firms, corporate legal departments, hiring managers, and candidates through a consultative approach.
  • Present qualified candidates and provide guidance throughout the interview and offer process.
  • Conduct reference checks, background checks, and credential verification while ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process to deliver an exceptional experience.
  • Conduct quality check calls with clients and placed employees to ensure successful placements and long-term partnerships.
  • Partner with existing clients while proactively identifying opportunities to grow business through candidate marketing, relationship development, and account expansion.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and develop new client relationships through networking, business development, and market outreach.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within legal staffing or legal recruiting.
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative communication skills with clients, candidates, and internal partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruiting technologies.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and customer service.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD THESE
  • Previous experience recruiting for legal support professionals and/or attorneys.
  • Staffing agency or search firm recruiting experience.
  • Experience supporting direct hire placements.
  • Business development, client management, or account growth experience.
  • Existing relationships within the legal community or legal recruiting market.
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven recruiting environment.
  • Familiarity with Avionté, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar recruiting platforms.
TRAVEL

Travel is expected approximately 10% locally for training, client meetings, networking events, or other business needs.
