About the role
NetDocuments is seeking a Legal Consultant to work with law firms and legal department clients to support their adoption of NetDocuments' platform and AI capabilities - helping attorneys, paralegals, and legal operations professionals understand, embrace, and effectively use the tools that are reshaping how legal work gets done. Must have Legal experience, Legal Tech experience and knowledge of AI tools.
This role is intentionally designed as a development opportunity. We are looking for people who are early in their legal technology or legal operations career, deeply curious about the intersection of law and AI, and motivated to grow. High-performing Legal Consultants can expect a clear path to Senior LC/PM within 18 months, and from there, to either the Legal Innovation Partner track or the Forward Deployed Engineering track based on their interests and strengths.
What You'll Do
  • Support Senior Legal Consultants and Legal Innovation Partners in delivering client adoption programs, training sessions, and change management initiatives
  • Facilitate training webinars, onboarding sessions, and workflow workshops for client users at law firms and legal departments
  • Assist in developing training content, adoption guides, workflow documentation, and enablement resources
  • Monitor client adoption metrics and engagement data, preparing reports and identifying trends for the supervising LC/PM or LIP
  • Respond to client enablement inquiries, coordinating with Legal Innovation Partners and the technical team to ensure issues are addressed promptly
  • Develop a deep working knowledge of the NetDocuments platform, AI features, and integration ecosystem - becoming a trusted resource for clients navigating day-to-day platform questions
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal LC/PM team playbooks, knowledge base articles, and enablement templates
  • Build relationships with client legal technology and operations contacts, contributing to a positive and productive ongoing engagement
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need to be Successful
  • 2+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, legal consulting, or a related field - or a JD with meaningful interest in legal technology and a desire to move into a non-traditional legal career
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and their practical business applications mainly pertaining to legal uses and workflows
  • Basic familiarity with law firm or in-house legal department operations - you understand the environment your clients work in, even if you are still building deep expertise
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal. You can facilitate a meeting, write a clear follow-up email, and present a training deck without stage fright
  • Organized and detail-oriented - you manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and follow through on commitments reliably
  • Curiosity about legal AI and technology - you are the kind of person who reads about what is happening in legal tech and gets excited about its implications
  • Collaborative and coachable - you take feedback well, ask good questions, and are invested in your own development
  • Experience with LegalTech platforms, document management systems, or Microsoft 365 is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to client sites and team events

What You'll Love About NetDocuments
  • The People!

  • HSA company contribution
  • 401K match at 4% with immediate vesting
  • Flexible PTO (typically 3 to 4 weeks a year)
  • 10 paid holidays
  • Monthly contributions for life activities & wellness
  • Access to LinkedIn learning with monthly dedicated time to explore

Compensation Transparency
The compensation range for this position is: $80,000 - $90,000 plus bonus
