Job description

Partnerships Manager, Legal Professionals
CoCounsel is the leading AI platform for legal professionals. Partnerships are a core part of that strategy, including the AI companies whose capabilities we integrate into CoCounsel and the consulting, advisory, and implementation partners who drive adoption at scale inside law firms.
We're hiring a Partner Manager to support our growing portfolio of partners. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a set of AI partners and the integrations that bring their capabilities into CoCounsel, as well as our network of consulting and implementation partners who drive adoption, deployment, and expansion across our customer base.
This is a high visibility role, reporting directly to the VP of Legal Professionals Partnerships at Thomson Reuters. You will sit at the intersection of partnerships, product, sales, and strategy, and help shape how a category defining product transforms an industry.
Location : The successful candidates will ideally be based in New York and work in a hybrid environment, spending a minimum of 3 days per week in office. We are open to a remote work arrangement for the right candidate.
About the Role
In this role as a Partnerships Manager, you will:
  • Run day to day execution across a portfolio of partners, from planning through launch through scale
  • Drive cross-functional work with product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to keep partner programs moving
  • Support enablement and certification programs so our partners are fully integrated into Thomson Reuters sales motions
  • Track partner performance against key metrics, from pipeline and revenue to adoption velocity
  • Build trusted working relationships with partner counterparts and become a go-to point of contact for the field
  • Develop comprehensive account plans and coordinate regular partner reviews, executive updates, and internal stakeholder meetings
  • Lead negotiations and commercial discussions to expand and renew partnerships

About You
You may be a fit for the role of Partnerships Manager if your background includes:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years in partnerships, alliances, channel, BD, sales, or strategy roles, ideally in tech, legal tech, or professional services
  • Strong commercial instincts and a track record of driving outcomes that show up in pipeline, deals, or adoption, not just activity
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving without dropping things
  • Clear communicator who can move easily between partner counterparts, internal sellers and product leads, and executives
  • Comfortable working in a complex organization with a range of senior cross-functional stakeholders
  • Genuine interest in AI and legal tech, and the ability to develop and communicate a strong point of view
  • Self-starter who can operate with limited direction once goals are set
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet partners and attend industry events

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $119,700 USD - $222,300 USD.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
