SUMMARY:
The Verification of Employment (VOE) Representative is responsible for accurately verifying employment history for borrowers by following all policies and procedures. This role will provide effective customer service for all customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and services as well as communicating effectively with team members within the Verification of Employment Department.
This is a full-time work-from-home position, Monday - Friday, with an average of 40 hours per week. We are hiring for a few different shifts (please specify the shift you are applying for, be sure to convert to your time zone as needed):
  • SHIFT 1 - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm ET
  • SHIFT 2 - 9:30 am to 6:00 pm ET
  • SHIFT 3 - 10:00 am to 6:30 pm ET
  • SHIFT 4 - 11:30am to 8:00pm ET
  • SHIFT 5 - 12:30pm to 9:00pm ET
First preference will be given to candidates who are flexible between the hours of 11:30-8:00pm ET or 12:30-9:00pm ET and/or are based in the Mountain or Pacific time zones. A laptop and work equipment will be provided!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accurately verify employment history for borrowers by following all policies and procedures
  • Analyze data to spot anomalies with the returned verifications.
  • Respond to incoming calls and e-requests timely and accurately.
  • Meet productivity and quality goals set by the department.
  • Follows all workflows and appropriately document orders.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer calls/electronic requests.
  • Assists other team members as needed.
  • Participates in skills training, as requested.
  • Adheres to, and maintains compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and Universal policies and procedures.
  • Ensures safety and confidentiality of Employees, property, and data.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-3 years' relevant experience in a similar capacity or relative entry level business or customer service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, customers, and co-workers.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a remote position. As such, high speed internet is required. Candidates must also have the ability to establish a quiet workspace that is distraction-free, and conducive to continuous work and will provide for confidentiality.
