  • Evolve Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Remote Insurance Verification Specialist to join our growing team.
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MENTAL HEALTH VERIFICATION!!!!!!!

    This position is ideal for someone who has extensive experience verifying mental health insurance benefits and enjoys working in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable managing a high volume of insurance verifications while assisting with new patient onboarding processes.

  • Job Responsibilities

    Insurance Verification (Approximately 70% of Workday)

  • Verify mental health benefits and eligibility for new and existing patients
  • Confirm deductibles, copays, coinsurance, outofpocket maximums, authorization requirements, and coverage limitations
  • Accurately document verification information in the patient's chart
  • Communicate Copays, Deductible, & CoInsurance to New patients
  • Communicate insurance findings to appropriate team members
  • Identify and resolve insurance discrepancies when possible
  • New Patient Support (Approximately 30% of Workday)

  • Create and maintain new patient charts
  • Process and manage incoming patient referrals
  • Ensure all patient demographic and insurance information is entered accurately
  • Assist with onboarding new patients into the EMR system (eCW)
  • Coordinate with scheduling and intake departments as needed
  • Requirements
  • REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years of insurance verification experience within a mental health, psychiatry, psychology, counseling, or behavioral health setting
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance plans, Medicaid, Medicare, and authorization requirements
  • Experience reviewing behavioral health benefits and coverage limitations
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable highspeed internet connection
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to pass a technology assessment
