Overview

Responsible for developing innovative, scalable, and engaging learning solutions that support enterprise business goals across CE&I and affiliated business units. This role partners with Learning & Leadership Development, Human Resources, Safety, Quality, Operations, IT, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, develop, implement, and maintain modern learning experiences using advanced instructional design methodologies and emerging technologies. This position serves as a strategic learning consultant and is responsible for creating high-quality multimodal learning solutions including eLearning, video-based learning, simulations, virtual instructor-led training (vILT), instructor-led training (ILT), microlearning, performance support tools, and AI-enhanced learning assets. This role requires strong business acumen, visual storytelling ability, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects in a fast-paced remote environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex organizational processes, systems, policies, procedures, and operational workflows and translate them into engaging, easy-to-understand learning experiences
  • Collaborate with organizational divisions and SMEs to develop enterprise learning solutions aligned to operational goals and learner needs
  • Consult with stakeholders and business leaders to identify appropriate instructional strategies, modalities, and technologies for learning delivery
  • Independently manage the full instructional design lifecycle including needs analysis, learning strategy, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance
  • Design and develop high-quality digital learning assets including:
    • eLearning modules
    • Scenario-based learning
    • Interactive simulations
    • Video-based learning
    • AI avatar and voice-enabled training
    • Microlearning
    • Performance support/job aids

  • Utilize modern instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to develop scalable and measurable learning experiences
  • Create visually compelling and brand-aligned learning materials using modern multimedia and visual design principles
  • Leverage AI-enabled learning technologies and automation tools to improve learning efficiency, speed, accessibility, and learner engagement
  • Develop accessible learning content that aligns with WCAG accessibility standards and diverse learner needs
  • Partner with project stakeholders to establish learning objectives, define success metrics, and evaluate learning effectiveness
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain instructional and visual design standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support LMS administration, course publishing, SCORM/xAPI packaging, and learning analytics/reporting
  • Support data collection, reporting, and dashboard initiatives related to learning metrics and project visibility
  • Utilize creative strategies to deliver multimodal training solutions including:
    • Instructor-led training (ILT)
    • Virtual instructor-led training (vILT)
    • eLearning/asynchronous learning
    • Hybrid/blended learning
    • Video and simulation-based learning
  • Coordinate or independently produce multimedia assets including:
    • Video production/editing
    • Voiceover narration
    • Motion graphics
    • AI-generated video content
    • Photography and field capture
    • Interactive media assets
  • Maintain awareness of emerging instructional technologies, AI trends, and modern learning strategies and apply them appropriately to learning initiatives
  • Travel to field locations, corporate offices, or operational sites as needed to capture training content, conduct discovery, support filming, or facilitate training initiatives

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Multimedia Design, or related field preferred
  • Three to five years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating technical and non-technical learning solutions
  • Experience developing enterprise-level eLearning and blended learning programs
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and publishing SCORM/xAPI compliant content
  • Experience collaborating with SMEs, operations leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced environments
  • Experience creating multimedia learning assets including video, interactive media, simulations, or AI-enhanced learning preferred
  • Experience supporting remote and distributed workforce learning initiatives preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
