Job description

Section 1: Position Summary

The Human Resources Service Center Associate is responsible for delivering support to Ascensus associates, leaders and the Human Resources team. You will provide a high level of support for internal clients, with accurate and timely responses to inquiries submitted in the Human Resources case management system in Workday.

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to level one cases regarding associate benefit programs, human resources policies and programs, and all other general HR questions.

  • Assign level two Help cases to the appropriate HR Center of Excellence team.

  • Manage full life cycle of assigned cases from acknowledgment to follow up and resolution, all within service standards.

  • Maintain associates' data in Workday by assisting leaders with Leader Self Service tasks and properly informing associates how to use Workday.

  • Process assigned Workday tasks and processes timely.

  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any stream.

  • At least 1 - 2 years of experience in HR Shared Services in a global organization for US and India based associates to medium to large size organizations.

  • Experience in Workday is a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple demands on time and work with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to pick up quickly and learn the various HR disciplines to assist with level one support.

  • Proven track record of collaborating with others to deliver fast, positive results.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build strong (often remote) relationships.

  • Strong analytical abilities and Excel skills.

  • Ability to utilize technology to communicate and present information.

  • Organized with experience in coordinating projects.

  • Proactive and collaborative team player with strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong written and spoken English language skills.

The national average salary range for this role $39-60k in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses and benefits.This base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salary offered will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment. We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
