Burson's People Team is seeking a Human Resources Senior Associate to play a key role in enhancing the overall employee experience across the company. This individual will partner closely with our People Team Business Partners, senior leaders and employees to help drive impactful people initiatives spanning onboarding, internship programming, employee engagement, training program coordination, and day-to-day operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team of passionate people professionals at a highly respected global communications firm.

This role can be based in New York, Washington DC, or Chicago

What you'll do:
  • Serve as one of the lead onboarding partners across the U.S providingย comprehensive support for all new hire onboarding processes, including Workday entries, onboarding template management, scheduling coordination, and ensuring a seamlessย best in classย employee experience from offer acceptance throughย first day.ย ย 
  • Co-lead the Harold Burson Summer Internship Program, supporting the full lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding preparation through program coordination and intern experience managementย throughoutย the summer.ย 
  • In partnership withย theย U.Sย L&D team,ย manageย systems, including employee set-up, data accuracy, reporting support, and ongoing process maintenance.ย 
  • Track, coordinate, and administer employee personnelย milestone programs and ad-hoc recognition efforts, including gift card distribution and related communications.ย 
  • Maintain and update internal email distribution lists to ensure organizational accuracy and effective communication across teams and functions.ย 
  • Help to support the global Burson strategy through people business partnership, driving performance and business outcomes through People Initiativesย 
  • Oversee management ofย logisticsย related to onboardingย and offboardingย materialsย 
  • Additionalย projects asย identifiedย and assignedย 
Experience that contributes to success:
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in HR or related fields, ideally in an agency or professional service environmentย 
  • Strong organizational and time management skillsย 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsย 
  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Office Suite and HRISย ย 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionย 
  • Ability to partner with remote teams in various locationsย 
  • A collaborative mindsetย
