Overview
B3H corporation is seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to plan, conduct, and coordinate and a wide range of human resources activities. Key responsibilities include employee management, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and unemployment insurance This individual also provides technical support on HRIS systems and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity.
B3H is a leader in building winning DoD and corporate teams. B3H provides the full spectrum of strategic planning, program management, acquisitions management, systems engineering & integration, cost analysis, training, systems requirements analysis, and instructional system design for the DoD. B3H delivers quality performance with complete government visibility and control. B3H Corporate headquarters are in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This position may be remote for a highly qualified individual.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to FLSA, ACA, EEO, VETS-4212 reporting, and applicable wage determinations.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements affecting HR functions and update policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Conduct internal audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and corporate standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR compliance matters.
  • Advise managers and employees on interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Prepare employee separation documentation and conduct/track exit interviews.
  • Manage unemployment claims and responses.
  • Develop, update, and maintain HR policies and employee handbook materials.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and leave programs.
  • Coordinate with brokers and carriers to ensure accurate enrollment, billing reconciliation, and compliance.
  • Manage annual open enrollment processes, employee communications, and system configuration.
  • Maintain benefits participation records and required documentation.
  • Provide HRIS system administration and technical support, including report generation, troubleshooting, and workflow improvements.
  • Maintain employee records including hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
  • Ensure data integrity and accurate government reporting.
  • Analyze HR data and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Support recruiting initiatives, job postings, applicant screening, and employment offers.
  • Review job classifications and compensation data; assist with compensation and benefits surveys.
  • Assist with development of training programs and compliance-related education initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred with 3-5 years of progressive HR experience; OR
  • Associate degree in Human Resources or related field with 5-7 years of related HR experience; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and ethical conduct.
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound independent judgment.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred (or actively pursuing certification).
  • US Citizenship required
