What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Counter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Counter, you need strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and often a background in data entry or inventory management. Familiarity with spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and experience with inventory tracking systems, are typically required. Excellent time management, self-motivation, and clear communication are crucial soft skills for working independently and meeting deadlines. These skills ensure reliable and efficient remote counting, supporting accurate records and operational decisions for organizations.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in remote counting roles, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in remote counting roles often encounter challenges such as maintaining accuracy without direct supervision, managing distractions in a home environment, and communicating effectively with remote teams. To address these, it's important to establish a dedicated workspace, utilize reliable digital tools for counting and verification, and set regular check-ins with team members to ensure alignment. Adhering to standardized procedures and double-checking work can also help reduce errors and build trust with supervisors.

How to make $100,000 a year working from home?

Remote counting jobs, such as remote accounting or bookkeeping roles, can offer high earning potential if you have relevant certifications, strong financial skills, and experience. To reach a $100,000 annual income, professionals often need to work full-time, specialize in niche areas, or manage multiple clients using accounting software and remote communication tools.

What are remote counting jobs?

Remote counting jobs involve tasks where individuals count, tally, or verify data, items, or transactions from a remote location, often using digital tools or software. These jobs can include inventory counting, auditing, data entry, or reviewing financial transactions, all performed online or from home. Remote counting positions are common in industries like retail, finance, and logistics, and typically require attention to detail and basic computer skills. They allow for flexibility and can be either part-time or full-time roles depending on the employer’s needs.

Can I get a remote job in accounting?

Remote accounting jobs are widely available and often require proficiency with accounting software, strong organizational skills, and relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA. Many companies offer remote positions for roles like bookkeeper, accountant, or financial analyst, with flexible schedules and the ability to work from home.

Will CPA be replaced by AI?

The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) profession involves complex financial analysis, auditing, and advisory work that currently require human judgment and expertise. While AI can automate routine tasks like data entry and basic calculations, it is unlikely to fully replace CPAs in roles that demand critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and client interaction in the near future.

Job description

Commercial Litigation Associate (Elite National Boutique)

Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid/Remote)

Experience: 1+ Years

About the Opportunity: Tired of the traditional billable hour grind but want to keep practicing at the highest level? We are partnering with a premier, national trial boutique expanding its Orange County office. Recognized as a Vault "Top 150 Under 150" and a BTI "Midsize Heavyweight," this firm was founded by elite litigators who spun off from a global giant to do big law work on better terms.

They defend high-profile Fortune 100 brands, including global beverage giants and national sports leagues, while offering junior and mid-level associates immediate case ownership and a clear track to the courtroom.

Why This Role is Different:

  • Zero Billable Hour Requirement: Performance and advancement are measured by work quality and client outcomes, not by counting hours.
  • Elite Client Roster: Represent household-name marquee clients on high-profile national matters.
  • Prime Location: Modern office situated directly across from the Irvine Spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a sophisticated caseload of commercial litigation, including toxic torts, aviation product liability, and complex litigation.
  • Draft high-level pleadings, substantive motions, and discovery.
  • Participate actively in depositions, oral arguments, and trial preparation alongside veteran trial attorneys.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience.
  • Graduate of a Top 30 Law School; if outside the Top 30, candidates must be at the top of their class.
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $210,000 – $275,000 per year. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:

  • Medical Insurance (Am Law-level package)
  • Dental Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Fully paid parking and CA State Bar dues covered
