Our LPCCs work flexibly, coordinating closely with the larger healthcare team to support patient needs through remote consultations and digital interventions. Although the counseling is performed remotely, therapists will be part of a collaborative care model, utilizing electronic health records and telehealth technologies to ensure seamless communication and documentation.

The Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor will have a diverse array of responsibilities which include:

• Collaborating with primary care providers to identify, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues impacting patients.
• Conducting thorough patient intakes that encompass diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, subsequently recommending tailored treatment goals and plans to the primary care team.
• Delivering targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals in need of mental health services.
• Determining the appropriateness of patient referrals to specialty mental health facilities, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive care based on their unique circumstances.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously in treatment charts while providing regular updates to primary care providers on patient needs and treatment effectiveness.
• Developing and implementing relapse prevention strategies to help patients maintain stability in their mental health.
• Identifying 'at-risk' patients and crafting proactive plans to prevent deterioration of their conditions.
• Linking patients with community resources and additional mental health support as permitted, to ensure a holistic approach to their well-being.
• Consulting with clinic management and interdisciplinary teams on behavioral health services, outcomes assessment, and program evaluation.

As an LPCC, you will engage with individuals facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and psychosocial stressors. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling.
• A current and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) License.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, familial systems therapy, and DSM-IV diagnostic criteria.
• Ability to effectively assess the individual needs of patients and create personalized treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills to foster therapeutic relationships within the treatment team and with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing necessary reports.
• The mental and physical stamina to meet the demands of a clinical counselor role.
