Looking for a meaningful way to make a real difference-right from home? LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a remote Part-Time Donor Scheduler based in Gainesville, FL. This is your chance to help save lives and support your community, all while working remotely. If you're passionate about helping others, we invite you to be a vital part of our life-saving mission.
In this vital role, you'll be the voice that inspires others to give the gift of life, reaching out to donors to schedule appointments and helping guide them toward life-saving apheresis donations when appropriate.
**You MUST be local to our headquarters division in Gainesville, FL** Previous customer service, call center, and/or phone sales experience preferred.
Available Shifts:
  • Monday-Thursday: Morning: 9am-2pm, Afternoon: 1pm-6pm, Evening: 4pm-9pm
  • Friday: Morning: 9am-2pm, Afternoon: 1pm-6pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: Morning: 10am-2pm
**Hours are flexible, but must be available 20-25 hours per week**
Bonus Alert: If you're proficient in both English and Spanish, you may qualify for additional compensation as a bilingual Donor Scheduler!
What You'll Do:
  • Inspire donors to schedule life-saving appointments and donate blood
  • Guide donors through the process, answering questions and addressing concerns with care
  • Promote exciting local blood drives and special events to encourage donations
  • Help us crush collection goals and ensure our community has the blood it needs
What You'll Need:
  • You must be local to our headquarters division in Gainesville, FL
  • Maintain a dedicated, distraction-free workspace
  • Access to a personal computer with reliable internet, a high-quality headset, and a webcam for virtual meetings
  • Remain accessible via email, Slack, and phone during scheduled work hours
  • Adhere to data security protocols and maintain confidentiality of donor information
  • Maintain consistent and reliable transportation for occasional in-office meetings or training
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential in this remote role
  • Performance goals and metrics are clearly communicated and monitored to ensure your success

Who We Are LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. We are committed to meeting the blood supply needs of hospitals and their patients by providing the highest quality blood components and services. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.
