Position Summary:


We are in search of a Designer who understands the pulse of luxury streetwear and contemporary fashion and has the expertise to transform ideas into realities with a focus on Mens and Womens RTW and Denim. This position will collaborate with the Creative Director and the Senior Designer each season to develop and execute creative vision. The role will collaborate cross-functionally across all stages of the product creation process, contributing to seasonal narrative development and leading brand, product, and innovation storytelling. This position is responsible for ensuring the seasonal look, feel, voice, and execution are consistently defined and delivered. With an eye for detail, a deep understanding of fashion trends, and a passion for creating pieces that resonate with people, you will play a pivotal role in elevating and defining our brand.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct seasonal market and trend research, develop concepts, create CAD sketches, and build presentations to clearly communicate creative strategy and product direction
  • Present concepts through detailed sketches, material selections, color palettes, and trims to the Creative Director, the Senior Designer and Product Development team
  • Translate the Purple aesthetic into commercially relevant and market-appropriate designs
  • Execute tasks and projects with precision, attention to detail, and urgency to meet department deadlines
  • Design across multiple product categories, including outwear, denim, wovens, cut & sew knits, knits sweaters, and accessories
  • Ensure consistency and cohesion within assigned product categories
  • Utilize strong Illustrator skills toquickly and accurately produce design sketches
  • Develop comprehensive tech packs with construction details, fabric information, and trim specifications
  • Accurately scale graphics and textiles in line with design requirements
  • Review samples, attend fittings and update tech packs, sketches, and BOMs as needed based on changes.
  • Collaborate and communicate with overseas vendors and internal teams to ensuretimelyupdates and alignment
  • Partner closely with Product Development on fit-related matters during seasonal development
  • Partner with vendors and the sourcing team to drive innovation in product development while ensuring alignment with costing requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of design experience
  • Prior experience in denim design and development is preferred
  • Deep understanding of the brands aesthetic with the ability toestablisha creative direction that inspires fresh ideas and innovative concepts
  • Solid understanding of denim luxury streetwear, eye for detail and quality execution
  • Highly proficient in fabric development and wash process
  • Strong knowledge of tech packs, garment construction, and specs
