Responsible for sourcing, screening, recruiting, and hiring candidates for entry to mid-level roles for a location, such as non-exempt, maintenance technicians, clerks, etc. Gains exposure to full-cycle recruitment processes and contributes to attracting, retaining, and engaging a talent workforce. Ensures compliance with all internal policies, regulations, and laws. Ensures quality candidate and hiring manager experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Leaders and hiring manager to understand hiring needs and identify selection criteria that are aligned with the job description.
  2. Creates a recruitment plan to ensure quality candidates meet the organization's needs. Assists with developing talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  3. Utilizes job boards, social media platforms, and internal databases to identify potential candidates. Conducts initial candidate review, screening, onsite interviews, and extends offers.
  4. Schedules and coordinates interviews ensuring prompt and effective communication with candidates, hiring team, and internal partners.
  5. Answers questions and provides coaching and guidance to candidates, hiring manager, and interview panel.
  6. Gathers feedback and delivers feedback or extends offers.
  7. Supports HR programs through the recruitment process, including pre-boarding activities such as I9 audits.
  8. Assists with preparing recruiting materials or coordinating recruitment events.
  9. Maintains accurate records in relevant systems, including applicant tracking system (ATS) and human resource information system (HRIS).

Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ year of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of HR and/or recruitment policies, regulations, and best practices
  • Exposure to sourcing, screening, and/or candidate selection
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Good initiative, time-management, organization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new technologies (i.e., ATS, HRIS, etc.)

Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
  • Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s) and in a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
  • The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
