About this opportunity
The Driver Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and coaching a high-performing team of Driver Recruiters and a Recruiting Coordinator to achieve hiring goals while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. This role drives recruiting performance through accountability, data-driven decision making, continuous coaching, and operational excellence.
The Driver Recruiting Manager ensures recruiting activities align with company objectives by maintaining a strong focus on speed, quality, compliance, and customer service throughout the hiring process. Success in this position is measured by the team's ability to consistently achieve hiring targets while maintaining high standards of candidate engagement and recruiter development.
Pay and Schedule
This position is Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM. The pay range is $60,000 - $70,000/year dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Driver Recruiters and a Recruiting Coordinator.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions focused on performance, pipeline management, and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, urgency, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify high-potential employees and recommend succession plans.
  • Support onboarding and training of new recruiters.
  • Recognize and reward high performance while addressing performance concerns promptly.

Recruiting Operations
  • Drive the team to achieve weekly, monthly, and annual hiring goals.
  • Monitor recruiter activity, productivity, and conversion metrics.
  • Ensure recruiters maintain healthy candidate pipelines.
  • Remove obstacles that impact recruiter productivity.
  • Optimize recruiting workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Training, Safety, Marketing, Operations, and Driver Services to improve the hiring experience.
  • Performance Management
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics

Strategic Leadership
  • Analyze recruiting trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and hiring success.
  • Participate in workforce planning and hiring forecasts.
  • Support implementation of new recruiting initiatives, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership on departmental strategy and execution.
