Recruiter

FUNCTION: Responsible for sourcing, screening, selecting, making verbal job offers, reporting, and coordination of on-site drug tests for applicants. Also provides leadership, training, and support to Recruiters, and Recruiting Coordinator.

REPORTS TO: Talent Acquisition Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Employee is expected to conduct all business in accordance with our Company Team Promises. policies and procedures, employee handbook, as well as following Fair Housing laws (both federal and local), Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, OSHA and all other laws pertaining to the property management industry.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Recruiter Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers on hiring needs.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Posts jobs on external job boards.
  • Searches for passive candidates on job boards.
  • Screens resumes/applications and selects qualified candidates for interviews.
  • Phone screen potential candidates.
  • Schedules and conducts in person interviews.
  • When requested, assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Makes verbal job offers.
  • Once verbal offer acceptance is received, notify Recruiting Coordinator to complete the back end of the hiring process.
  • Prepare new hire packets in advance.
  • Greet new hires, verify and copy I-9 documents, make company badge. May help with onboarding process in ATS as needed.
  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Works with Recruiters to determine any opportunity to create efficiency while still performing necessary duties to achieve the goal.
  • Reviews Weekly Recruiting Report for accuracy before distribution to senior leadership.
  • Reconciles and approves all invoices for processing related to recruiting.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversees service level of all recruiting vendors such as job boards and vendors.
  • Keeps Director of Human Resources informed of recruitment activity to include problem solving assistance and accomplishments.
  • Responsible for overseeing Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Company websites, and other related recruiting sources as it relates to 5812 recruiting.
  • Verifying that all communication with applicants is consistent with Company policy and procedure.
  • Ensures EEO compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations for recruiting.
  • Staying current with the needs of each worksite and coordinating efforts with the recruiting team and site leaders to meet staffing needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in Recruiting to include high volume non-exempt non-agency recruiting.
  • Paylocity software experience (ATS) preferred.
  • High level of professionalism for applicants first impression of company.
  • Ability to act with integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good customer service skills. Respond promptly to candidate/hiring manager needs. Meet commitments.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), critical thinking and analytical ability required.
  • Oral Speaks English clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens and asks for clarification. Responds well to questions. Participates in meetings.
  • Written Writes English clearly and informatively. Edits work for spelling and grammar. Presents numerical data effectively. Able to read and interpret written information.
  • Good planning/organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities. Use time efficiently.
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office products (including Excel).
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities. This includes a valid drivers license, good driving record, and reliable transportation to drive to property locations.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screenings.
