Position Summary
The Associate Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and construction projects related to gas pipeline facilities. This role partners with project managers, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting all phases of project execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and construction projects from initiation through completion.
  2. Support project managers in monitoring project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  3. Coordinate with engineering, operations, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  4. Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and communicate project status to leadership.
  5. Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, purchase requisitions, contracts, and project schedules.
  6. Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate meeting notes and action items.
  7. Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  8. Assist with project closeout activities, including documentation, record management, and final reporting.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education & Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  2. Typically, six years of related, progressive work experience is required for candidates who do not possess a bachelor's degree.
  3. Five or more years of experience in engineering, technical services, or construction of gas pipeline facilities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  1. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  2. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with project management software is a plus.
