Our mission is to develop avenues for market penetration through rigorous research, creative disruption, and front-line campaign leadership. From ideation to post-mortem, we are responsible for working with each team to develop integrated marketing plans that drive consumption, increase market share, and build global fandoms.

Your role:

As a VP, Marketing Strategy, you will serve as the chief strategist for a diverse roster ranging from emerging talent to global icons. You will be expected to leverage a deep understanding of the Rock, Alternative, and Country landscapes to build distinct, competitive identities for our artists. This is a high-visibility role that requires a blend of creative intuition and data-backed decisiveness to turn artistic vision into commercial dominance.

Here you'll get to:

  • Develop comprehensive and strategic marketing, campaigns, and goals across all phases of development that position our artists as global stars and differentiate them in a crowded marketplace

  • Develop a detailed analysis of artists' fan bases & create growth strategies to increase fan bases

  • Collaborate with all departments to develop innovative, fully integrated campaigns that drive consumption, sales, cultural relevance, and audience growth

  • Lead internal artist task forces and management status calls, ensuring all departments (Digital, Sync, Radio, Publicity) remain on-strategy

  • Work directly with Creative Services to ensure a consistent, compelling visual and narrative thread across all consumer touchpoints

  • Lead rigorous post-mortem analyses for priority launches to refine future initiatives and ensure compounding ROI on every campaign

  • Constantly review real-time data and draw actionable conclusions to reach set goals, manage fluid marketing plans that extend out 12 months or more

  • Identify and secure high-impact partnerships across sports, LGBTQ+, lifestyle, and retail spaces that expand the artist's reach beyond traditional music channels

  • Manage global project budgets with total accountability, ensuring spend is optimized for maximum market impact

  • Act as the primary liaison between the artist/management and the label in driving the artist's vision and all marketing-related issues

  • Represent Warner Records at the highest standard at shoots, shows, and industry events, fostering relationships built on trust and ingenuity

About you:

  • You don't just execute tasks; you build blueprints for success. You are relentless in the pursuit of "one-of-a-kind" initiatives

  • You have a proven ability to draw actionable conclusions from real-time data while maintaining the integrity of the artist's creative vision

  • You possess the executive presence to manage internal relationships and lead high-stakes creative discussions with bold ambition

  • At least 8 years of high-level marketing experience at a major record label, specifically within the Rock, Alternative, or Country genres

We'd love it if you also had:
