Job description

Busy ambulatory surgery center in Santa Barbara has a full-time opening for a surgery coordinator/receptionist (Monday – Friday). Position entails front office duties, procedure scheduling for multiple doctors, insurance verifications/authorizations, charting and filing, and some data entry. Applicant must have exceptional communication skills, be able to multi-task, and be comfortable working in a very fast-paced and busy environment, while in close rapport with medical providers. The ability to stay very organized, handle challenging situations, have good follow- through, and a solid work ethic are a must. Applicant must be reliable and punctual, have excellent computer skills, communication skills and customer service, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience preferred. Great pay plus benefits.
