Job Responsibilities

As a Receptionist, you will serve as an important first point of contact for our facility and help ensure a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcome and assist residents, families, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Answer the telephone and switchboard during scheduled shifts.

  • Direct incoming calls to the appropriate employee or department.

  • Transfer callers to the appropriate voicemail when an employee is unavailable.

  • Provide general information about the facility, including the address, directions, fax numbers, website, and other relevant information.

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail.

  • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of express mail services, including FedEx and UPS.

  • Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies.

  • Perform general clerical duties, including copying, faxing, filing, and other administrative tasks.

  • Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance the customer experience, improve workflow, and support a positive work environment.

  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent related work experience.

  • Six months to one year of customer service, office, or clerical experience preferred.

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Ability to navigate the Internet and company systems.

  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
