The Medical Receptionist/Patient Registrar at Retina & Vitreous of Louisiana plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients from the moment they enter the facility. This position is responsible for managing patient check-ins, verifying insurance information, and accurately entering patient data into electronic health records. The role requires effective communication with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to facilitate appointments and resolve any administrative issues. By maintaining organized and up-to-date patient records, the Medical Receptionist/Patient Registrar supports the clinical team in delivering timely and efficient care.
