Our client is a rapidly growing technology company that has recently opened a beautiful new headquarters in Downtown Austin. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a polished, energetic, and highly organized Receptionist to serve as the face of the organization and create a welcoming experience for employees, customers, candidates, and visitors.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative environment where culture, collaboration, and exceptional service are highly valued.
Position Overview
The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk operations and ensuring the office runs smoothly on a daily basis. This individual will play a critical role in creating a positive first impression, coordinating office activities, and supporting a growing team in a modern, professional workspace.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, candidates, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain the appearance and organization of the reception area and common spaces.
  • Coordinate visitor check-in procedures and office security protocols.
  • Manage conference room scheduling and preparation for meetings.
  • Assist with office events, team gatherings, and company meetings.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, kitchen inventory, and workplace amenities.
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires, including workspace preparation and office tours.
  • Partner with leadership and office operations teams to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
  • Assist with administrative projects and general office support as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, office coordinator, hospitality, or administrative support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and office productivity tools.
  • Experience working in a technology, startup, or high-growth environment is a plus.
