Charleston GI has been developing since 1989, our practice is the first and largest gastroenterology practice in the Lowcountry to operate a physicians' practice and three nationally certified and state licensed endoscopy centers. Our team includes ten outstanding Board Certified Gastroenterologists, with a combined experience of over 100 years of treating patients.

Job Purpose:
Recall & Referral Scheduler ensures patients are being contacted and scheduled efficiently. The Recall & Referral department will be responsible for contacting all physician recall patients and all physician referral patients to schedule an office consultation, an open access procedure or a recall procedure.
Duties: (includes, but are not limited to)
  • Calling patients and scheduling their appointments
  • Responding efficiently and accurately to patients
  • Effectively communicating with physicians, staff and patients
  • Engaging in active listening to patients
  • Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Flexibility is essential
  • Recall & Referral scheduler will perform other essential activities or duties as assigned on an as needed or regular basis by his/her designee

Anticipated Schedule:
Monday- Thursday 8 AM- 5 PM
Friday- 8 AM- 1 PM

Requirements:
  • Minimum Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience in healthcare preferred
