Job Summary:
RGT Consultants is an IT consulting firm focused on helping organizations modernize their workplace through Google Workspace and ChromeOS solutions. They are seeking a part-time Google Workspace Migration Specialist to lead and execute migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace, managing projects end-to-end and ensuring smooth transitions for clients.
Responsibilities:
• Executing and managing end-to-end migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace.
• Owning migration projects from planning and data discovery through execution, troubleshooting, and post-migration support.
• Working directly with clients to understand their environments and design migration strategies.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, cloud engineering, or systems administration
• Proven experience performing migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace (mail, calendar, contacts, and file data)
• Strong experience with migration tools such as Google Workspace Migrate, BitTitan MigrationWiz, or CloudM
• Working knowledge of identity and access systems including Azure Active Directory and Google Cloud Identity
• Experience migrating Exchange Online mailboxes, SharePoint/OneDrive data, and Teams environments
• Strong understanding of email systems (SMTP, routing, DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell and/or Python preferred)
• Ability to troubleshoot migration issues including data integrity, permissions, and sync errors
Preferred:
• Experience with enterprise-scale migrations (500+ users)
• Familiarity with coexistence strategies and phased migration approaches
• Experience configuring and administering Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Admin Console)
• Knowledge of compliance, retention, and data governance considerations during migration
• Experience integrating or migrating third-party tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, SIS platforms)
• Google Workspace or cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Google Workspace Administrator)
