Job description

Dark Wolf is looking for a Google Workspace Engineer who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment supporting and maintaining a large-scale Google Workspace environment for a DoD customer. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the customer's security team and will be responsible for implementing security best practices for Google Workspace to include designing and architecting solutions to secure services, monitoring Workspace services, and responding to incidents. This position will also offer the opportunity for the successful candidate to expand their role into greater responsibilities such as Cloud and Platform Security Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer all services within the Workspace suite: Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc.
  • Design and implement data loss prevention (DLP) controls for Workspace content
  • Implement Gmail filtering controls to detect and quarantine sensitive content
  • Perform Incident response on across all Workspace services
  • Document and present security best practices and designs to Customer stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of System Administration experience for Education, Enterprise or Federal Government customers
  • 2+ System Administration experience for Google Workspace or similar SaaS office suite platform (e.g. Microsoft 365)
  • Experience supporting user requests and troubleshooting issues
  • Experience with DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science of related field
  • Professional Google Workspace Administrator Certificate
  • Experience operating and maintaining systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and security requirements
  • Knowledge of Google Apps Manager (GAM)

This position will be a remote/hybrid role based out of multiple hubs including: Herndon, VA, Tampa, FL, Huntsville, AL, Colorado Springs, CO, Ogden, UT, and Omaha, NE.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $70,000.00 - $135,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
