We are seeking a detail-oriented and technology-savvy Purchasing Associate to support our procurement and inventory management operations. This individual will be responsible for purchasing industrial products, maintaining inventory levels, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate purchasing data within our ERP systems.


The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a high level of computer proficiency. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) is strongly preferred. Knowledge of industrial distribution products and supply chain processes is highly desirable.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring customers receive the products they need by maintaining appropriate inventory levels, supporting vendor partnerships, and helping drive operational efficiency.

Compensation: Starting at $50k-$55k and will increase depending on candidates experience and industry knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of purchasing, buying, inventory management, or industrial distribution experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, MRO, power transmission, hose, hydraulics, bearings, fluid power, or related industries.
