The Purchasing Assistant will support the Purchasing 70% and Warehouse teams 30% in maintaining efficient operations. This role involves assisting with purchasing tasks, managing inventory, and providing hands-on support in the warehouse. Familiarity with electrical equipment and proficiency with computer systems are essential, as the position requires regular use of our inventory management software. Key Responsibilities
Purchasing Support:



  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to source electrical and solar equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Conduct price comparisons and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms.
  • Assist with forecasting inventory needs based on historical data and project requirements.
  • Documenting Standard Operating Procedures
  • Research and identify new suppliers to expand vendor network
  • Stay updated on market trends and cost fluctuations to optimize purchasing strategies.
Inventory Management:


  • Regularly update the inventory management system with accurate stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory to prevent overstocking or shortages.
  • Support cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
