Position Summary:
The Sales Agent is responsible for growing revenue and expanding the customer base for Ideal Sushi Supply by developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing exceptional service to existing accounts. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, promoting company products and services, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Agent serves as a key representative of Ideal Sushi Supply and contributes to the company's growth through proactive sales efforts, account management, and market development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identifies, develops, and secures new customer accounts within target markets.
  • Maintains and grows existing customer relationships through regular communication and account management.
  • Conducts sales calls, customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations as needed.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of the company's products, services, pricing, and competitive advantages.
  • Consults with customers to identify needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Prepares quotes, proposals, product recommendations, and pricing information.
  • Monitors customer purchasing patterns and identifies opportunities to increase sales and customer retention.

Physical Requirements and Job Conditions

  • Must be able to walk through warehouse and customer locations and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry product samples, marketing materials, and other items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and reach with items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to withstand periods of extreme heat or cold temperatures in warehouse, cooler, or freezer environments as needed.
