Job description

You will serve as a PURCHASING AGENT in the MARINE CORPS RECRUITMENT COMMAND of 4TH MARINE CORPS.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Making sole source purchases utilizing demonstrated knowledge and experience of federal, departmental and agency acquisition policies, regulations, laws, methods and procedures; 2) Evaluating and soliciting contracts through identification of national and local supply sources; 3) Discussing equitable price adjustments for modifications to purchase orders utilizing demonstrated knowledge of post award procedures; 4) Performing personal property program functions utilizing demonstrated knowledge of Federal property management regulations and policies; and 5) Reviewing and reconciling credit card purchases utilizing demonstrated knowledge of government purchase card program.
